Joyride 150 summer camps are all about building self-esteem, learning new tricks, making friends, and having FUN. Our popular program includes:

Joyride 150 summer camps focus on improving fundamental riding skills, balance, coordination, and style. As avid cyclists, we take pride in teaching proper bicycle etiquette for every situation.

Our camps don’t just improve skills—they turn a love for cycling into a lifelong passion.

 JOYRIDER 1:

Joyrider 1 is an introductory program designed for riders aged 5-8*. This program focuses on helping young riders become stronger and more confident on their bikes.

Participants will learn proper bike positioning, braking techniques, and the correct stance to master new skills at the park. Lessons are enhanced with organized riding activities and games to improve bike handling skills and boost confidence.

Please Note: Joyrider 1 is not suitable for children who are still learning to ride a bike or use training wheels.

JOYRIDER 2:

Joyrider 2 is an intermediate program designed for riders aged 8-13* that combines focused instruction with practice sessions.

Campers will refine their bike skills while learning how to safely progress to more advanced tricks and maneuvers. Riders will also gain knowledge of basic bike maintenance, park riding etiquette, and essential skills like proper jumping, drop-ins, flyouts, wheelies, and bunny hops.

JOYRIDER 3:

An advanced program for ages 10-14* that aims to improve and enhance existing riding skills.

Campers will learn intermediate tricks (larger drop-ins, jump lines, spines, transfers, quarter pipe, etc) and intermediate tricks (no footers/handers, bunny hop 180/360, foot jams, no footed can-cans, tables, turndowns, etc).

*The recommended ages for each camp are guidelines. A rider’s skill level on the first day of camp is the most important factor in determining the appropriate camp level.

All campers are assessed on the first morning of camp to ensure they are placed in the best level for their maximum enjoyment and learning experience.

Please Note: Riders are required to have a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads to participate in Joyride 150 Summer Camp.

If your child is bringing their own bike, be sure to inspect it for safety before you get here. Go to our Bike Check page to make sure you’re covered! All campers’ bikes must have brakes.

A cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. Written cancellation requests must be sent to info@joyride150.com. Cancellations received at least 14 days prior to the start of the camp session will be eligible for a refund, minus the cancellation fee. Please see event confirmation email for more information on terms and conditions. 

No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the camp session’s start date or once the camp session has begun.

Joyride 150 reserves the right to cancel any camp session due to insufficient enrollment. Additionally, Joyride 150 reserves the right to move a camper to another program level within the same camp session based on their skill assessment.
