PRIVATE LESSONS
Lessons at Joyride 150 are a great way for any rider to learn new skills and have fun at Canada’s largest bike park, Joyride 150. All JR150 instructors are riders themselves who love to share their passion with members of the riding community.

LEARN TO RIDE
Joyride 150 Learn To Ride Lessons are the perfect starting point for someone that is new to riding. No prior riding experience is necessary!
Learn To Ride lessons are progressive and designed to take riders from balancing to pedaling. They focus on both fun and progression. Smiles are guaranteed!
• Each lesson includes 1 hour of instructed riding time. Additional uninstructed riding time is also available.
• Lessons are $85, and are one on one instruction only.
• No bike? No problem, rental equipment is available. Please see our pricing page for details.
Learn To Ride lessons are recommended for riders 5 and older.

TWO WEEK LEARN TO RIDE PROGRAM
The Joyride 150 Learn To Ride program is a two-week version of our popular Learn To Ride lesson. The program aims to take riders from balancing to pedaling. It’s the perfect start to a world on two wheels.
• Each session includes 1 hour of instructed riding time. A day pass is available before or after a lesson for an additional $15 fee.
• The cost to enroll is just $140 for two weeks of sessions
• No bike? No problem, rental equipment is available.

LEARN TO JOYRIDE
Looking to do more than ride around the block? Our Learn To Joyride lessons focus on helping riders move to the next step in their progression.
Learn To Joyride focuses on jumping, dropping in, pumping a transition and park etiquette.
• Each lesson includes 1 hour of instructed riding time. Additional uninstructed riding time is also available.

LESSONS – ADVANCED BMX FREESTYLE
Do you have the next Drew Bezanson sleeping in the one room over? Or maybe you’re just looking to make it through our expert jump line clean and effortlessly.
Either way, Joyride 150’s Advanced BMX Freestyle lessons are designed for the BMX rider who’s looking to progress beyond bunnyhops and 180s and into the world of 360s, tailwhips, barspins and more.
Advanced BMX Freestyle lessons are taught by Boiler Room Rider Xavier Wright!
Each 1-hour class focuses on skill-building and progression-based learning for BMX Riders
• The program includes a full day pass on the day of the lesson in addition to 1 hour of instructed riding time with coach Lawson Turner

GROUP LESSONS
Are you and a few friends looking to learn to Joyride? Trying to settle a sibling rivalry on the pump track? Joyride 150’s new group lessons offer riders the unique opportunity to learn new skills alongside up to three of their riding friends.
These lessons are designed to teach beginner to intermediate skills in park etiquette, pumping, jumping and freestyle riding.
At 1.5 hours in length, our group lessons work great for both younger and older riders.
• Each group lesson includes 1.5 hours of instructed riding time. A day pass is available before or after a lesson for an additional $15 fee.
• The cost to enroll is $225 for up to three riders and $275 for a maximum of 4 riders.
• No bike? No problem, rental equipment is also available with every booking.
• Please note our group lessons are not designed for riders who are not yet riding independently.
